Awhile back a big storm came through covering everything in white.
Even though it was midnight when the snow came, that didn't stop Jessica from running around in it.
Everything was covered. The roads, the cars, the trees, and anything else that had been left laying around. For a day, everything slowed down. Unfortunately that day was Sunday, so no one missed any school.
White snow, pink sky...
...my, what a wonderful sight!
Here's our own modest Christmas display. Thanks to everyone who sent us Christmas wishes. We were invited to celebrate Christmas with the Thibaults (Justin's aunt and uncle), so we'll be sharing those photos soon!

Fall and more!
Welcome to the latest installment of the happenings in Boston. With law school finals and grading upon us, we haven't taken a lot of pictures lately, but here are a few we've been meaning to share.
Fall was beautiful, with lots of reds, oranges, and yes, yellows.
We walked along the Charles River to get a closer look at the foliage.
Luckily Jessica forgot to bring her wet suit. Otherwise, she would have wanted to chase after these feathered friends.
Maybe because you expect to see red, or maybe because lemonade is so delicious -- the yellow trees are really amazing.
For a better idea of the color range up close, we hired a local hand model so we could take this picture.
And if you thought it was just the trees that changed color, you were wrong. Here, even the buildings turn red in the fall.
During the fall, Justin's school had a "bring your mentors to school" day. So, of course he had his mom and Jessica come to school. We got some great photos of the visit, including the shot in front of his school in the previous post. But, due to liability issues, this is the only shot we can share from inside the classroom, because its the only one where no students are photographed. Now if Justin would just learn to teach with his eyes open...
We also went and visited Curious George. Not the monkey, the children's bookstore in Cambridge.
Also in early November we went to Ohio to visit Justin's grandparents. We got to hang out with some of his cousins who were visiting at the same time. Here, Grandma is blowing out her marshmallow while cousin David works to set his aflame.
Here, cousin Hunter enjoys trying to get her jaw into a s'more. Based on her expression, it may be a little too charred for her liking.
And here is a photo taken by Hunter.
For those of you who missed our last post, we've made it through our first year of marriage. Here we are getting ready to go out and celebrate that momentous occasion.
And here is the pumpkin cheesecake we were given on our anniversary. We may be celebrating our anniversary several weekends in a row ;-)
Finally, a little holiday lighting combined with a long exposure while manually zooming. Happy holidays everyone, and safe travels!
