Boston Gahden!
A friend from college came into town and had an extra ticket to see the Celtics. So Jessica, being the dedicated law student that she is, volunteered to stay home so Justin could go to his first ever Celtics game. Here's a shot he got from outside the Garden with the Zakim Bridge.

Blogging from the Blizzard...
You know it's going to be a bad storm when the entire city of Boston shuts down... A blizzard is heading for Boston tonight, and this storm should pack an even bigger punch than the storms that hit Boston shortly after Christmas. Apparently we are also due for a bit of thundersnow! These Texans had no clue what thundersnow actually was (and some thought we made this up), so here's a shot from the evening news as proof:
According to Wikipedia, thundersnow is a "rare kind of thunderstorm with snow falling as the primary precipitation instead of rain." With school officially canceled tomorrow, we plan to stay up late and catch some of the action!
Above the (winter) Law
A shot of the somewhat frozen Charles River featuring the tallest law school in the country in the foreground and downtown Boston further off. That's right folks, what you see there is the Boston University Law School where Jessica spends her days. Good thing she's generally studying inside so she doesn't have to look at the outside of the (ugly) building... On the plus side, the view from the law school is phenomenal!

Tastes like Chicken!
Well, maybe not exactly, but even though we had to wait until January to see our first snow, it sure is exciting!
Car in Disguise
Snow can definitely make for some interesting images. Some are built, like snow-people. Others, well, we'll just call them happy coincidences.
