Bringing home the tree

We brought home our Christmas tree today.

Since we don't have a roof rack, Justin had to pick it up by himself. It just fit in the car!

Which is more than we could say about it fitting in our apartment. We had to take a couple inches off the top to make it fit. 

At first William was really confused why there was a tree growing in our apartment. 

So then we explained to him about Christmas, wrapping paper, presents and toys, which got him excited!

William is excited any time crinkly paper is involved!

Quick trip to the zoo

On Uncle Christopher's last day in DC we took a quick trip to the zoo. William saw zebras, elephants, a red panda, otters and even cheetahs (pictured). But, everyone there agreed he was the cutest animal around!

William likes his whale bathtub so much, he doesn't even need water in it to have a good time!

First tooth

After several months of speculation, hedging, and other such shenanigans, it's finally here...William's first tooth. Those of you who had lower left central incisor, you were correct and will be getting your share of the pool money via PayPal. For everyone else, it's not too late to get in on the pool for William's SECOND tooth!

Christmas shopping

William has been doing a little Christmas shopping by looking at all the ads in today's newspaper.

A walk in the park

We took advantage of the beautiful weather this weekend and went for a hike in Rock Creek Park. The foliage was gorgeous, and William met a horse!
