While he hasn't started pulling himself up onto objects, he can stand up unassisted by someone for very short periods of time -- that is, until he's distracted by a shiny object!

With his 9 month birthday only days away, William is venturing into some new foods. Like cheese. He ate a fair amount, but based on the faces he made the jury is still out on whether he likes it.

All he got for Christmas were his two front teeth

Now that he's got two teeth, William is learning to take care of them by brushing every night!

High chairing it up!

Went out with Auntie Molly and Jessica's cousin Julie for lunch. While it was short lived, William did seem to enjoy his time in the high chair. Until he realized there was a lap available.

William decided to take an inventory of all his toys, so he pulled out his toy basket and dumped the toys all over the ground. Yea toys!

We're back from Texas, and while half a dozen of us ended up with a stomach virus, and William got a nice little shiner, he did get a chance to work on his latest move!

You would never know that it had been only 8 hours since they last saw each other based on the way they celebrate the end of the day!

William the Bear

Today William decided he wants to grow up to be a bear. 

Isn't he a cute bear?

William knows that bears need to be fierce. "Growl!" Isn't William fierce?

William also knows that bears like honey. But William doesn't have any money for honey. What can William do?

William knows! He can join the circus as a piano playing bear. Look at Maestro William practice for the circus. Good practicing William!

We met up with William's godmother Manasi for dinner at our favorite salad joint, Sweetgreen. You may recognize the setting from previous photos, except this time William sat all on his own (until he decided he wanted to be held).

Under the weather

Our little munchkin is under the weather today, so while we are focused on helping him feel better, here's a cute photo we took of him recently when we were visiting with Aunt Molly.

Second trip to the aquarium

We took our second trip to the aquarium and found the underground observatory where we could watch the dolphins swim around. William really seemed to enjoy it since it isn't as busy as some of the other tanks and he could just focus on the dolphins...or the light refracting off the water. Yea aquarium!

Close enough

He's holding the spoon all by himself and he managed to get it into his mouth, seems like a win to us. So what if it was the handle that he ended up chewing on? Maybe he's just a hipster. That's something hipsters might do, right?
