Sunday Funday

We had expected a yucky day, but with not a cloud in the sky we had to get out! We visited the public library where William wanted to see all the books. Then he tried some smoothie. And then he made all the friends at an Indian restaurant. We also found a free public indoor wading pool so expect some photos of William in his bright orange swimsuit real soon!

Blueberries

William has been trying a new food: blueberries! He has been eating them blended with banana and spinach. From the looks of his face after dinner, he likes them!

Bright eyed

While William looks adorable any time of day, he looks especially adorable in the mornings.

Subway rider!

William rode the subway for the first time yesterday. Here he is on his inaugural ride! He was very observant and seemed to be in awe of the subway doors opening and closing at each stop.

People watching

William enjoyed looking out the window and making some new friends after dinner with Manasi.

Story time

Our nightly ritual includes between 2-4 books. In case you're curious there is an inverse relationship between the number of books read and the amount of wiggles William has.

While he's not old enough to spend a lot of time on anyone's shoulders, he got a sampling of what's to come and seemed to enjoy the view!

William was excited to spend Valentine's Day with Mom and Dad. Here he is opening a new book. Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!

With Mom and Dad home because of the snow, it seemed like the perfect day for William to try out pancakes. Overall, he seemed to enjoy the experience. Just wait till he learns about maple syrup!

Either William has excellent posture or he just hasn't learned to slouch yet!

William is now starting to show interest in climbing. Currently his favorite jungle gym is Mom, but when she's not available the stairs will suffice.

William has more teeth coming in, and he has found relief in the form of apple slices.

Mommy's little man

With Jessica back at her main office, the whole family gets to drive to and from daycare together. She's even managed to stop by daycare. You can tell this makes William super happy!

Baby yoga

William's morning routine includes some yoga stretching to get him ready for a day filled with crawling. Here I caught him in the middle of his sun salutation.

In preparation for the Winter Olympics, William is practicing his form. He thinks he's about ready for the pair skating.

Sippy cup time!

We've been working with William to get him to drink water out of his sippy cup with little success. 

Then we put milk in it and he was much more interested. 

Maybe a little too interested. 

Granted, he's still working out some of the finer points of the process.
