William got some suction bowls that stick to his tray so he can practice eating with a spoon. At one point he was holding the spoon and managed to get food out of the bowl and into his mouth! Granted, the spoon was in his right hand while he fed himself with his left...

Morning car rides

William always looks adorable on our morning commute into work and daycare.

Big boy bath

He's all grown up, taking a bath in the bathtub! Don't worry, we still managed to continue the whale theme with a whale bathmat.

The tunnel

William is everyone's favorite at daycare, so they pull out all the toys for him to play with. Today they pulled out a tunnel the liked crawling through!

A postcard

Our friend Huy is currently on an around-the-world journey. He asked
if anyone wanted a postcard, so we sent him our address. William was
super excited when it arrived from Thailand!

Playground

We took William to his first playground today. He had a great time going down the slide, playing the drums, and swinging! Mom, Dad, and Manasi had lots of fun, too.

Lobster toy

Jessica picked up a lobster toy at a flea market a couple years ago that is super high tech, i.e., when the wheels turn it makes the claws snap. William enjoys it, again proving that sometimes you don't need a screen to have fun!

Food fight?

For those of you keeping score at home, William won dinner tonight. TKO.

Backpacking

We tried wearing William on our back today (with the help of our carrier). Both William and Dad seemed to like it!

Brunch date

Justin had to work Sunday, so Jessica and William came down to meet him for a late brunch.

Teething

William's second front tooth is coming in, and while he's been teething, he likes to gnaw on cold cucumbers or other chewy treats. Here he is enjoying a piece of bread!

We put William in the shopping cart today for a little while. I think because he had to wear a seatbelt he thought it was some kind of roller coaster. At least he gripped the handle like it was one!

We got outside today and enjoyed the beautiful weather in DC with Manasi.

Modern family

With Justin in Florida the past two days, we've been spending time doing some video chatting! William is a pro at this point and is not impressed with Dad's antics.

Snow day

With 6-9 inches of snow falling in DC, William celebrated his snow day by catching up on some reading.
