Back in DC

After another long day of driving we're back in DC. William is celebrating being out of the car with a Popsicle and his parents are wondering if he's gotten taller since they left DC several days ago.

Beach time

William was trying to find a way to bring the bubbles home. No luck so far, but he believes the technology will be available soon.

William got up close with an elephant in Baltimore. He was very excited.

Jazz in the park

William had lots of fun tonight running around the Mall and listening to jazz in the park, which is held every Friday during the summer in the sculpture garden at the National Gallery of Art.

William had his first dim sum experience this weekend. Luckily, he brought his own chopstick.

Nap time

Still not 100% sure how they do it, but daycare manages to get 12 toddlers onto cots and taking naps every day around noon. William is averaging about 1.5 hour naps. These pictures are from Justin's birthday when we picked him up early to go play! And yes, that is his butt way up in the air.

When William is ready to go outside, no stairs are gonna get in his way...or any dad!!

William celebrated his amazing dad today at the National Building Museum (after Dad bowled a great game!)

Baby you're watching fireworks!

William proved all the critics wrong by not only watching the fireworks without crying, but also showing real interest in the fireworks! Probably didn't hurt that we had a great view!

I'm blue

We went blueberry picking today. In true Burniske fashion, William sampled more than he saved. We eventually convinced him that getting the berries off the bush, instead of out of the picked berry bags, was the way to go.

Leftover Father's Day Berry Pickin'

 We caught a couple close up photos of William while we were strawberry picking on Father's Day. Looks like someone was sampling the goods...and loving them. Good thing they didn't weigh him before and after!
