Mexico!

This year for Christmas we headed to Mexico. 

It was just like our honeymoon!

Except that we have a child who isn't so sure about the ocean

And we had other family there...

Still...Mexico!

Botanical Garden

We made our annual trip to the botanical garden to see their toy train display. We'll let William's expressions speak for themselves!

Tricycle Playground

William is a big fan of one playground near our house where they have community tricycles out for kids to use. 

He's not quite big enough to use the peddles so he uses the Fred Flintstone method!

Car wash!

William is trying to do more and more to earn his keep. This week he tried out washing the car, which was a big hit. Spraying water, lots of bubbles and a car. What could be better?

The Beach - Indoor Version

We went down to the National Building Museum to check out their Beach exhibit. While we waited to get in, William enjoyed playing with the oversized Legos. Once we got in, it took him a little bit of time to warm up, but once he did, William didn't want to leave!

Sidewalk mowing

Got to keep those sidewalks nice and clean!

Down by the Mall

Went down to the Mall to wander around. William was very much INTO the water feature outside of the Native American Smithsonian. It took quite a bit of convincing to keep him OUT of the feature.

Rock Creek Park Creek

William got to do what all children deserve a chance to do - drag a stick through mud and throw rocks into a water! 

Capitol

William has found the set of blocks that make the Capitol...and he got it on the FIRST TRY (not really)!

Kennedy Center Visit

 We recently made it out to the Kennedy Center to see a ukulele performance, followed up with a run through the water feature that popped up on the Kennedy Center patio.

Two years of William!

Jessica was working on a birthday video for William when her computer screen went dead on her. Since then, we managed to get the file off her computer and upload it here for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!
