The Beard and I

This is the story of one man, his pledge not to shave or get a haircut during his four month honeymoon, and his wife who had to put up with a scratchy beard.

Here they are at the wedding. Recently cut hair and shaved face leave this bride with a big smile.

One month later, just a week before departing for the honeymoon, we see him one last time with a freshly shaved face, but the hair has not been trimmed.

The first day of the honeymoon, the happy couple takes a photo by the bay.

One week later, pictured in Hong Kong, the stubble has set in.

Surprise! In Thailand the beard isn't out of control (yet), but that hair is starting to take some liberties.

Halfway through India and this bride realizes that her man can't grow a full beard.

In Egypt, people stop and say, "With a beard like that, could he be Muslim?"

In Greece he appears to have the beard of Zeus but the wingtips of Hermes.

Slurping spaghetti in Italy leaves sauce in his beard. A midnight snack maybe?

By Spain this man makes small children cry and sends El Coco running.

Back in Texas, this misguided soul believes he has the hair of a certain man pictured everywhere.

Yet all things must come to an end...

Ok, I haven't seen anything like that ... ALL DAY. O, Internet, how do I love thee?

Rolling on the floor with laughter! Can't stop, can't stop. I shall be on the floor for awhile.
