Congratulations to Joel and Laura!

Just wanted to send out a big congrats to Joel and Laura Johnson, married on December 28th, 2008. Laura is Jessica's oldest cousin, and Joel is a really cool guy. We also want to say thanks for getting married, because now when people ask us, "How does it feel to be married?" we can say, "Why don't you ask the newlyweds?"



It has also been pointed out by Granny (pictured below with her second oldest granddaughter), that the similarities between the recently wed couples are rather astonishing...


For example:

• We were married on November 28th, J+L were married on December 28th
• Joel has a beard, Justin often tries to grow a beard
• Joel has a brother, Justin has a brother
• We were vegetarian (for awhile), J+L are vegan
• Joel is a teacher, Justin is a substitute teacher
• Jessica is older then Justin, Laura is older then Joel
• Justin has an attractive wife, Joel has an attractive wife
• Justin weighs more then Jessica, Joel weighs more then Laura
  
• Jessica's wedding dress was white, Laura's wedding dress was white
  
• Joel is a middle school band director (Go Scotties!), Justin played clarinet in his middle school band
• Jessica and Laura both have a Cajun Grandmother!

It really is quite astounding...
