In an effort to skip the crowds that often come with eating out on Valentine's Day, we decided to eat in.
We baked some salmon and asparagus, pictured here, and mashed up some potatoes to go with a delicious bottle of Prosecco (an Italian sparkling wine).
And here is our dinner table. A wonderful meal that ran us under $20. And we didn't have to spend all that time getting all dressed up to enjoy it!

Justin took that overhead shot of the table, right? Yep, he's got loooong arms.
Glad you had a great Valentine's Day!

I watched the movie Valentine's Day, a typical chick flick, and there was a scene in a restaurant on V-day, which shows why it is crazy to go to a restaurant on V-day.
What a yummy meal to eat at home. Good thinking!
