Artistic constraints
They say art can take on a limitless number of forms, but sometimes we must constrain our our work. Like taking the option to color on the wall out of the equation.

Elephant
Made an afternoon trip to the zoo, discovered there's a bird section we had never visited before, and checked out one of William's favorite animals!

Laughter
Jessica can make William laugh no matter what position he's in! Also, if you haven't already seen them on Facebook, make sure to look at the links under our twitter feed on the right side of the page for more photos of William!

Part 1: can't stop, won't stop
This is part one of a three part series on William and eating. We'd like to make it official. Everyone who had "blueberry" as William's favorite food should go ahead and collect, because if there is one thing that he will eat and eat and eat it's blueberries. He even figured out how to open our hotel mini fridge so he could get them out.

Walk in the park
Took William out to the park by our house. He had fun running after the birds, although the jury is still out on mud.

Coloring with Mama
William and Jess busted out the crayons and did some reusing of a cardboard box that was about to be recycled, thereby reducing the amount of coloring paper they used. Got all three Rs in there!

Aquarium visit!
It was our first time back to the aquarium in a while, and William was super excited to point at everything!

William's first time in the ocean
The story of William's first time in the ocean, as told by William.
"Okay, so here we are at the beach."
"And that is the ocean right there?"
"That massive expanse of blue as far as the eye can see, where anything could be sitting just under the surface?"
"That's the ocean where you want me to go?"
"I'm not so sure about this..."
"Gigi, what if instead we just go in the sky?"
"Okay, that's way too high."
"Let's go in the ocean!"
"This isn't a trick is it? You're not gonna turn and run when the first wave comes, are you?"
"Look, here comes a wave."
"Maybe I can just lean over it instead of stepping in."
"This isn't so bad."
"Oh, wait, yes it is."
"Great, I'm done. Been in the ocean. Big check on my bucket list."
"Thanks Dad for just standing there and taking pictures while I risk my life."
"Maybe next time put down the camera and help. I am definitely returning that "#1 Dad" mug you got for Father's Day if we ever get back to DC."
