We're all stars now at the Bulb Show!

This past weekend we went to visit Justin's family in Western Massachusetts. Apparently, they had a pretty mild winter...

No, actually they took us to Smith College where they have a great greenhouse bulb show.

Granted, over time the show has expanded beyond just bulbs, and so now there are all kinds of plants on display. But instead of telling you about all the flowers, why don't you tell us -- which is your favorite? Note: Number precedes the photo.

Wow, that was a lot faster than trying to come up with comments for all the photos. It also prevented Justin from saying anything inappropriate.

New England Spring

Yesterday was the first full day of spring, and as is always the case with spring, it came with a fresh layer of snow. But don't worry, that quickly turned into rain, because there's nothing as nice as being cold AND wet.

If you were wondering about the building featured in the photo, this is part of the Boston College campus. Justin recently interviewed for and got a temporary position working at BC, so if you're wondering, THAT'S WHAT HE IS DOING WITH HIS TIME.

Birds of a feather...

Even with the snow falling outside we had a whole flock of birds show up. Granted, they were hand delivered by the USPS via Diane Rice, but they were still a great sight to see. They've found a nice little home for themselves on the branches we had at our wedding, along with an ornament we got from Molly.

Happy Valentine's Day!

In an effort to skip the crowds that often come with eating out on Valentine's Day, we decided to eat in.

We baked some salmon and asparagus, pictured here, and mashed up some potatoes to go with a delicious bottle of Prosecco (an Italian sparkling wine).

And here is our dinner table. A wonderful meal that ran us under $20. And we didn't have to spend all that time getting all dressed up to enjoy it!

Fenway Visit

We recently made it out to Fenway, where the Boston Red Sox play, for a charity fundraiser. Here we are posing with the Red Sox's most recent World Series trophy. The backdrop fell right before we snapped the picture.

And inside!

Probably shouldn't take this long to post a picture that was actually taken 30 minutes after the picture in our last post, but what are you gonna do? A college friend, Liam, was in town and had an extra ticket to see the Celtics so Justin went. Just one more thing that Justin is doing. The picture may look a little off, but that is intentional. Usually, if you take a picture that has a giant screen in a dark room, either the screen is completely washed out or everything else is pitch black. With the new iPhone, it takes two pictures, one regular and one that tries to enhance the image. The picture above is the enhanced image.

For those of you wondering, here is the regular image.
